I am a transition to teaching teacher who jumped from industry 9 years ago to become a business teacher. Even in that short time I have seen so many changes to the field of education! I didn't know so many changes could be implemented in such a short period of time. I completed my master's in administration in 2016 and was named the small and rural teacher of the year last year. I love creating real world opportunities for my students and have grown our WBL program to support about 1/4 of our senior class. I am so glad I put the effort into getting my teaching license all those years ago!
